After last years success, I wanted to
let everyone know about the Second Northwest Variety Artist Forum
happening this Sunday Nov 18th in Seattle. It is a good chance to perform new
stuff, works in progress or brainstorm ideas with a live audience and
performers who are there to give you feedback. Or a good chance just
to come hang out with some cool people and there will be a party at my
place after! So here is the info:
NWVAF serves to unify professional variety artists in the Northwest.
It\'s mission is to create an outlet for performers to collaborate,
perform, or get feedback on an act, promo materials, or anything
This year\'s forum is a one night only intensive held on November 18th.
Performers will each have 15 minutes devoted to them that can be used
however they wish: performance critiquing, discussion, brainstorming,
writing or any combination thereof. Note: All performers will receive a video of the
intensive and worksheets from each attendee We have slots for 12-15
entertainers and slots will be on a first e-mail first serve basis. In
addition to your peers there will be a live audience of 40
non-entertainers who will be able to give you feedback in written
