Introduction text:
Can you truly imagine this? A huge hangar filled till the top with acrobatic training equipment. A Russian swing standing proudly next to a bunch of German wheels rolling all over the place. The extreme convention found birth in the enthusiastic mind of an Antwerp circus-creator named Maarten Janssens A.K.A. the PDG. He wanted to create a place where everyone could try out different acrobatic techniques. With the ‘Ell Circo D’ell Fuego ’-deadheads by his side they started the Extreme Convention three years ago, and it has evolved a hell of a lot since then. It now has a place for beginners as well as for professional acrobats who come here to meet and learn from each other. The broad range of acrobatic circus techniques we stuffed into the hangars of the convention is quite unique in Europe.
